I am deeply honoured to have been chosen as the recipient of the Scholarship Foundation of the Pacific award. This is a unique opportunity that will change the course of my life forever. 

Although a little nervous for the changes ahead, I’m incredibly excited to be starting this new chapter of my life. Despite leaving for school, Haida Gwaii will always be my home. I look forward to coming back and contributing to the communities that have been so good to me.

Without the support of this scholarship, I feared that a four year degree was financially unattainable. Thank you for giving me time to focus on my studies. This opportunity surpasses anything that I imagined for my future.
