This scholarship means more to me than anybody could ever imagine.  I thank God for the opportunity I've had to live on the beautiful islands of Haida Gwaii which has put me in the position to receive this scholarship.  It has enabled me to to pursue a career of becoming a psychologist, something that I wouldn't have been able to afford to do and at a better school than I could have ever dreamed of attending.  I am hoping to have an opportunity to affect my community positively in the future by coming back and using my degree to work with youth and people in need.  I am grateful to the scholarship committee and have been thanking God everyday that I have been the one chosen.
